Potato Tomato Gravy Vegetable

This is a fairly simple meal that is famous in North India.

If you already have boiled potatoes, preparing this veggie will take you just ten minutes.

It will only take around fifteen minutes to prepare, even if you still need to cook the potatoes.

 This easy veggie meal is delicious and served with puri and roti.

Any discussion of traditional cuisine must include potato and tomato curry. Vegetables like potatoes and tomatoes are prepared in nearly every home. However, since every person has a distinct approach, once you all prepare it this way, I hope you all enjoy the process and the flavour.

Ingredients

  •  Boiled potatoes – 4

  •  Green chilli – 2

  •  Tomato – 2

  •  Garam masala – ¼

  •  Cumin – 1

  •  Onion – 1

  •  Kasuri Fenugreek – 1

  •  Turmeric powder – ¼

  •  Red chilli powder – ¼ tsp

  •  Green Coriander – 1

  •  Mustard oil – 2

  •  salt to taste

Directions

  • Before making potato tomato gravy, the potatoes must be boiled and peeled.
  • Fill a pan with mustard oil and warm it over medium heat. Add the chopped onions to the heated oil and cook until golden.
  • Now, add a little more oil to the same pan with the leftover oil, then add the cumin, kasoori fenugreek, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, and all the other spices. Fry everything well.
  • Add chopped tomatoes and green chillies, and sauté until the spices are completely gone.
  • The tomato will be fried, turning occasionally, until it softens. Then, it will be combined with the boiled potatoes and roasted onion.
  • Fry for two minutes, then add two glasses of water, stir and simmer for an additional seven to eight minutes before turning off the burner.
  • Toss in the green coriander, remove all of the heated potatoes and tomatoes, and serve in a ball.
  • It’s now time to serve our hot potato and veggie with tomato gravy.
