I’ve given you this recipe for chicken fried rice today; if you enjoy non-vegetarian food, you’ll love it.

This is a really delectable meal that takes only a few minutes to prepare and is perfect for any party or small gathering.

Ingredients

  • Rice – 1 cup

  •  Boneless chicken – 1 cup (finely chopped)

  •  Green onion – ¼ cup

  •  Soya sauce – 2 spoons

  •  Carrot – ¼ cup

  •  Mustard oil – 1 tbsp

  •  Salt – as per taste

  •  Cabbage – ½ cup

  •  Garlic – 7 to 8

  • Capsicum, green chilli – 2 teaspoons

  • Cloves – 5

Directions

  • Wash the rice, soak it for 20 to 25 minutes, and set it aside before making Chinese Chicken Fried Rice.
  • After washing, season the chicken with salt and black pepper, cover, and let aside for 20 minutes to allow the flavour to intensify.
  • Now fill a pan with two cups of water, then bring it to a boil.
  • After the water boils, add the rice that has been soaked and simmer it until it is about 80% done.
  • After this, filter this rice and keep it aside.
  • Then pour some oil in the same pan and heat it.
  • After that, add chicken to it and fry it till it becomes light golden and take it out in a vessel.
  • Again add one spoon oil in it, heat it and add finely chopped garlic and cloves and fry it.
  •  After the garlic is fried, add onion to it and cook it for a few seconds.
  • Add the chicken pieces now and heat them thoroughly.
  • Once the chicken is cooked, toss it with soy sauce, pepper powder, and salt and sauté for a brief moment.
  • Add the carrots and cabbage now, stir, and simmer for 4 to 5 minutes.
  • Once it has cooked for five minutes, add the rice and green onion, stir thoroughly, cover, and simmer for another two minutes. Finally, switch off the gas.
  • So our hot chicken fried rice is ready to serve.
