Ingredients

  • Rice – 1 cup

  • Boneless Chicken- 1 cup (finely chopped)

  • Green onion – ¼ cup

  • Carrot – ¼ cup

  • Soya Sause – 2 spoons

  • Mustard oil – 1 big spoon

  • Salt – As per taste

  • Cabbage – ½ cup

  • Garlic – 7 to 8

  • Vinegar – 1 spoon

  • Lemon juice – 1 spoon

  • Capsicum, Green chili – 2 spoons

Directions

  • To make Chinese Chicken fried rice, first wash and soak the rice for 20-25 minutes.
  • Now after washing the Chicken, add salt and black pepper to it. Keep it covered and marinate for 20 minutes.
  • Now put 2 cups of water in a pan and boil it.
  • When the water comes to boil, add the soaked rice to it. Keep it boiling till it’s about 80% cooked.
  • Now filter the rice out of the water, and keep it aside in a bowl.
  • After that, take some oil in the pan and heat it.
  • Now, add the Chicken and cook till it becomes golden brown. Take it out in another utensil.
  • Next, take a spoon of oil in same pan and heat it. Add the finely chopped garlic and cloves to it and fry it.
  • After the garlic is cooked add chopped onion to it and cook it for a few seconds.
  • Now put the Chicken pieces in it and cook it well.
  • After cooking the Chicken, add soy Sauce, salt and pepper to it and fry it well.
  • Now add cabbage and carrot to it and cook it for 4 to 5 minutes.
  • After cooking for 5 minutes, add rice and green onion to it and mix both of them well and cover and cook for 2 minutes, then turn off the gas.
  • So, our Chicken fried rice is ready to serve. 

Notes

  • You can also add lemon juice and Vinegar if you prefer. Add it a few seconds before turning off the stove.
