Ingredients

  • Spinach – 500 grams

  •  Green chilli – 3

  •  Paneer – 200 grams (cut into square pieces)

  •  Oil – ¼ cup

  •  Cumin – 1 tsp

  •  Bay leaf – 1

  •  Sugar – 1 teaspoon

  •  Ginger – 1 tsp (finely chopped)

  •  Garlic – 1 tsp (finely chopped)

  •  Onion – ½ cup paste

  •  Tomato – 1 cup paste

  •  Garam masala powder – ½ tsp

  •  Red chilli powder – ½ tsp

  •  Coriander powder – 1 tsp

  •  Salt – as per taste

  •  Green coriander – 1 teaspoon

Directions

  • To cook Palak Paneer, we must first take a vessel and slightly heat it with hot water in it. We will add a spoonful of sugar and spinach to the boiling water as soon as it becomes hot. Turn off the gas after two minutes of boiling.
  • After sifting the spinach with hot water, pour the ice-cube-filled water into a container and set it aside. This improves the colour of the palak paneer to an excellent degree.
  • But, you may also immediately grind it to prepare it if you’d like.
  • Now add the spinach, coriander leaves, and green chillies to the mixer jar and ground everything together.
  • Now, heat some oil in a skillet, add some paneer pieces, and fry them until they get a light golden colour—don’t fry them too golden.
  • After removing the cheese, crackle it in the leftover oil in the same pan by adding cumin seeds.
  • Add the garlic-ginger paste and sauté until it turns pink after the cumin and bay leaves have finished cooking.
  • Now add salt and combine thoroughly before adding garam masala, coriander powder, and red chilli powder.
  • After that, mix in the tomato puree and cook over medium heat.
  • Add the spinach to the masala and cook for 2 minutes, or until the oil starts to release.
  • Add the paneer chunks now and thoroughly combine everything.
  • In addition, we will stir everything together, pour in a little cream, turn off the heat, and serve.
  • It’s now time for our delicious Palak Paneer curry. Serve it with your preferred garnish.
