  • Vinegar – 2 tsp

  • Curd – 3 – 4 tbsp

  • Garlic – 4 – 5 cloves

  • Tomato – 3

  • Onion – 2

  • Dry red chilli – 4

  • Ginger – 1-inch piece

  • Turmeric powder – ½ tsp

  • Coriander powder – 1 tsp

  • Red chilli powder – ½ tsp

  • Black pepper powder – ½ tsp

  • Cumin powder – ½ tsp

  • Garam masala powder – ⅓ tsp

  • Kasuri Methi – 1 tsp

  • Long – 4

  • Salt – as per taste

Directions

  • Delicious: To prepare a delicious soybean curry, fill a skillet with water and cook it over gas.
  • Add one teaspoon of salt and two teaspoons of vinegar to the soybean as soon as the water is heated, cover it, and let it boil thoroughly.
  • The soybean will be allowed to cook until it swells correctly and is entirely soft.
  • We will switch off the gas and remove the soybean into a bowl after softening it.
  • Add the curd to the soybean, stir thoroughly, cover, and set away.
  • Before making the gravy, we need to chop two onions into long pieces.
  • Next, roughly chop the tomato, garlic, and ginger, then combine all of the ingredients with the dried red chilli to form a paste.
  • We’re going to heat the mustard oil in the pan and turn the gas on now. When the oil is heated, we’ll lower the gas flame to medium, add the finely chopped onions and cook them.
  • The onion will be deep-fried over medium heat for at least three to four minutes. Once the onion turns golden in colour, the gas will be turned off, and the onion will be removed from the dish to cool. I will save it for you.
  • We are going to add the last of the oil to the pan and turn on the gas now. We will add cloves to the oil as soon as it becomes heated. Gently fry it, being careful not to let the cloves burn.
  • We will now add tomato paste and salt right away, then set everything aside for four to five minutes.
  • Following that, thoroughly combine the cumin, black pepper, red chilli, coriander, and turmeric powders.
  • On the other hand, to prepare onion paste, we will now place the roasted onion in the mixer and add a small amount of water.
  • We’re going to add this to the pan now and sauté it with the seasonings. We will now continue to cook it until the oil begins to drain from our masala. Add the soybeans and thoroughly mix them in as soon as the masala begins to separate from the oil.

  • Then, thoroughly combine it with water. I will add only a half cup of water to the gravy, but you may adjust the amount to suit your needs.
  • After that, add one teaspoon of Kasoori Methi to it, stir everything thoroughly, cover, and simmer for four to five minutes.
  • After taking off the cover and mixing, cook the vegetables for 3 to 4 minutes. Then, switch off the gas and set it aside to cool somewhat.
  • It’s now time to serve our tasty curry made with soybeans.
  • It tastes well served with any of your favourite foods, including rice, roti, naan, and puri.
