Ingredients

  • Mushroom – 200 grams

  • Curd – 4 spoons

  • Salt – as per taste

  • Turmeric powder – ½ tsp

  • Coriander powder – 1 tsp

  • Red chilli powder – ½ tsp

  • Kashmiri red chilli powder – 2 tsp

  • Bay leaf – 1

  • Cinnamon stick – ½ inch piece

  • Long – 2

  • Black pepper – 2

  • Cumin – 1 tsp

  • Large cardamom – 1

  • Garam masala powder – ½ tsp

  • Black salt – ¼ tsp

  • Black pepper powder – ¼ tsp

  • Whole red chilli – 2

  • Onion – 2 medium sized

  • Tomato – 2

  • Green chilli – 2

  • Garlic ginger paste – 1 teaspoon

Directions

  • In order to prepare mushroom curry, we must first properly wash the mushroom before slicing and sizing it to your desired size.
  • Currently, whip two spoonful of curd well and add it to the mushrooms. You may also add some turmeric powder, Kashmiri red chilli powder, and Kasuri fenugreek salt. Mix everything thoroughly and cover the mushrooms. I’m going to set it aside for ten minutes.
  • Turn on the gas and grab a pan. Pour in the mustard oil as soon as the pan is just beginning to heat up. Add the bay leaves, large cardamom, cloves, and cumin as soon as the mustard oil is heated and sauté everything gently.
  • As soon as the scent begins to emanate, we will add onion paste and cook it for about two minutes on low heat. Next, we will add garlic and ginger paste and fry it for one minute on medium heat. Finally, we will add tomatoes. Simmer for two minutes.
  • We are going to add spices now, so I’ve grabbed some coriander powder, turmeric powder, chilli powder, garam masala powder, and red chilli powder from Kashmir. Mix everything thoroughly and add a small amount of water to prevent the spices from burning.
  • After combining everything, simmer it over low to medium heat for five minutes, or until oil begins to surface on top of the spices.
  • After that, we’ll add the magnetised mushroom, cover, and cook it over low heat for 15 minutes. This makes the veggie really wonderful, so be sure to give these suggestions a try; you’ll love them.
  • After 15 minutes, remove from the heat and stir in some green coriander with the veggie.
  • It is now time to serve our spicy mushroom curry. You will enjoy it considerably when served with puri, parantha, or roti.
