You’ve probably eaten custard apples a lot, but have you ever eaten the peeled version? It tastes really well, too.
Custard apple peel tastes even better when cooked with potatoes.
This may be made and served with puri, paratha, or roti.

Ingredients
Custard apple peel -250 (Sitaphal)
Potato – 2
Mustard oil – 4
Cumin – ½
Whole red chilli – 2
Directions
- Initially, the peel will be cut into the shape of a potato. Next, the potato will be peeled and sliced into long, thin pieces.
- After giving them a good wash, place them in a strainer to get rid of any leftover water.
- This gives the bhujia a crunchy, wonderful texture.
- Now fill the pan with oil and turn on the gas. Warm up the oil. Add the cumin seeds as soon as the oil is heated. When it begins to crackle, we will add whole red chillies and sauté them until they get slightly yellow.
- The first peel will then be fried for two to three minutes.
- Add potatoes next, and season both with salt and turmeric. Now, cook everything for five minutes with a tight lid.
- Next, simmer it over low to medium heat, covered, for 7 to 8 minutes, or until it is still raw.
- After turning off the gas, we’ll remove it onto a platter.
- It’s now time to serve our spicy Sitaphal peel and potato bhujia.
