What to eat and what not to eat to stay healthy in summer?

In the summer season, due to the strong sunlight, heat and winds, we remain afraid of many types of diseases. Due to less water in the body during summer, problems like heat stroke, diarrhea and vomiting increase.

In this season, especially stale food and food left in the fridge should not be consumed at all as there is a possibility of food poisoning.

To always keep the body hydrated and cool, we should completely avoid such foods. We must include some foods in our diet so that they do not harm our health in the hot air and scorching heat.

What should we eat in summer?

watermelon

Consumption of watermelon is very beneficial in summer because it contains up to 93% water. During summer, it helps in keeping our body cool as well as hydrated. Vitamin A and C are found in them which can develop the ability to fight diseases to cool the body, hence eating watermelon is very important in summer. Everyone must eat watermelon.

Coconut water

Coconut water is very beneficial for our health during summer because the electrolytes found in coconut water protect the body from dehydration. And along with keeping the stomach cool, it also provides relief from problems like acidity and bloating.

Cucumber Salad

One should eat a lot of cucumber and cucumber salad during summer because they contain plenty of water. Due to which the body gets coolness and stomach related problems are eliminated. Besides, salad is light so it is easily digested.

Sprouts

In the summer season, you must make sports like gram, moong, almond etc. a part of your diet because the rich iron and fiber found in it is very beneficial for your health, which can also provide energy to the body.

Mango Panna

Vitamin C and A are found in mango which is very beneficial for our health. Prepare Aam Panna by boiling raw mango, adding black salt, mint and roasted cumin to it. We all should consume it in summer, this prevents water shortage in the body.

What not to eat in summer

We should not eat fried and spicy food at all in summer. This may cause digestive problems.

Avoid caffeine and consume minimal tea and coffee.

During the summer season, completely avoid stale food, and do not eat food kept in the fridge at all.

It is very important to avoid eating rusty food, processed and packaged food.

Do not consume red meat at all because it contains protein and it takes time to digest protein. If possible, avoid non-veg meat.

One should not eat too much ice cream in summer because it can cause the risk of a cold and cough and it can overheat the body.
