Breakfast from Flour

I’m going to share with you today a very tasty flour-based dish.

You will all like this dish, so it is ideal for both breakfast in the morning and supper in the evening.

With only a few simple ingredients, you can rapidly create it and it’s quite easy to make. I made this dish with onion, tomato, and coriander leaves. I also included red and green chillies. You may exclude both of these if you are cooking it for kids.

The best thing about this meal is that it can be made quickly and tastes new, which is especially great if you’re tired of the same old breakfast every day.

You may also serve it with green chutney if you don’t want to pair it with tomato chutney.

You may have never had such a delicious flour-based cuisine prepared so simply.
Kids love this breakfast as well; we made it just for them, so we added a little chaat masala instead of chilli as most kids enjoy that kind of food.

Ingredients

  • Flour – 2 cups

  •  Onion – 1 finely chopped

  •  Tomato – 1 chopped

  •  Green chilli – 3 slit from the middle

  •  Coriander leaves – 2 teaspoon

  •  Red chilli powder – ¼ teaspoon

  •  Pasta powder – 1 teaspoon

  •  Water – as per requirement

  •  White salt – 1 tsp

  • Mustard oil – 2 teaspoons

  • Cumin – 1 tsp

Directions

  • Initially, the dough will be prepared by kneading it, using the same procedure as when we manufacture dough for rotis.
  • The dough will then be formed like a round iron, formed again like a tikki, covered in flour, and rolled out precisely like a roti. Don’t roll it too thinly or too large. It is equivalent to a puri. Not quite as thick as roti.
  • Now use a glass or small dish to cut it into puri-shaped little circles.
  • We will now adhere it by grasping the centre ½ inch from both sides and then we will adhere the portion that is adhered from both sides once more. This is how all puris must be produced.
  • To avoid the puriya pasta from sticking together, take a pan, add a glass of water, a little refined oil and a little salt. Then, heat the water by turning on the gas and cover it. Allow to warm up a bit.
  • Put the Puriya pasta in the water when it’s hot and beginning to open up a bit. After that, cook it for ten minutes with a cover on medium heat.
  • Put the Puriya pasta in the water when it’s hot and beginning to open up a bit. After that, cook it for ten minutes with a cover on medium heat.
  • Now, heat the mustard oil in the pan on the opposite side. Add the cumin seeds and let them crackle as soon as the oil is heated.
  • Add the onions and green chillies and cook until the cumin seeds begin to crackle. Keep the onions from becoming too yellow in hue.
  • We’ll add the tomatoes as they start to turn a hint of golden. We’ll add turmeric and salt to it in addition to the tomatoes since the salt helps the tomatoes cook more rapidly. After that, cook it covered for three minutes over medium heat.
  • At this point, as soon as the tomatoes begin to soften, we will add the pasta masala, the cooked pasta, and freshly cut coriander simultaneously.
  • After mixing everything, cook it over medium heat for two minutes. Then, turn off the heat, transfer it to a platter, and serve.
  • That means it’s time to offer our delicious hot wheat breakfast.

Notes

  • You now prepare it and do let us know in the comment section below how you enjoyed the dish I shared today.
