You can eat this poori with any vegetable. Serve it with bhujia also, it will taste good.
If you do not have bhujia or sabzi, then you can serve it with chutney also. So let’s see how to make poori and what things we have to keep in mind while making it.

Ingredients

  • All purpose flour – 1 cup

  • Water – 1/3 cup

  • Refined – as required

Directions

  • Take a mixing bowl with maida in it. Add 2 teaspoons of refined oil to it. Mix it well with the palm of both your hands. It has to be mixed in such a way that the refined oil gets mixed well in all the flour.
  • Now we will add water little by little, and knead the flour well and prepare a very hard dough.
  • Then cover it with a plate and leave it for 5 to 10 minutes.
  • By then, we will put the refined oil in a pan to heat. Keep the stove on, on medium flame to heat the oil.
  • Now we will make small balls out of the kneaded flour, and roll them in the shapes of a poori.
  • Keep in mind that it has to be rolled in such a way that it is uniform from all sides and not too thin.
  • If the poori is too thin, it will not be able to become soft.
  • Now we will put it comfortably in the hot refined and press it lightly with a spoon from all sides so that it becomes easy to swell.
  • When it becomes light brown in color after being deep fried from one side, then turn it over and fry it from the other side as well. Finally, take it out in a plate and serve it.
