You must have eaten brinjal vegetable many times, but have you ever made brinjal chutney and eaten it? Do you know this chutney is very tasty?
You must try this chutney once and serve it with your food, it will double the taste of your food. So let’s know the secret of this spicy brinjal chutney today.
Ingredients
Brinjal – 4
Mustard oil – 2 tsp
Salt – tsp (as per taste)
Green chili – 3 – 4
Directions
First of all, after washing the brinjal, make an incision in the middle and turn on the gas/stove and roast it well on high flame from all sides.
When it is roasted/cooked properly, then take it out in a plate and wash it, this will make it easier to remove the peel.
Let it cool down, after that take off its peel and keep it peeled off in a ball and mash it with your hands or with a masher (fetani).
Now add salt, mustard oil, green chilli (finely chopped), and mix all the things well with a spoon. Our hot brinjal chutney is ready, now we will serve it all with roti or paratha.
Notes
If you want to add onion to it, then cut it into fine pieces and add it while salt is being mixed with mustard oil. It will taste even more delicious. If you have green coriander leaves, you can add that too.
You can increase or decrease the quantity of chilli according to your taste. If you like more spicy, you can add 4 green chilies instead of 2.
